There are many evidences for the creation of our world and the occurance of the global flood as described in Genesis. I will only comment on a few areas that I am interested in. Some of the topics are very closely related to my own research.

In looking at the world around me, I have often wondered whether there is any aspect of the Creation paradigm that make it more satisfying scientifically than Evolution? In other words, could the use of a Creation paradigm be used to find better and more satisfying answers to problems which are very difficult, at best, to answer within the Evolutionary Paradigm?

Evolution and long ages have a lot of evidence that make it a satisfying paradigm. However, there are some issues that are beginning to show the possibility that the Creation paradigm, with its short ages, will give much better answers.

The following issues show extremely good promise of fitting my criteria, allowing the Creation paradigm to give much better more satisfying answers to problems. Click on the link that interests you.

Why is it that amino acids are still found in fossils and are not broken down after hundreds of million of years? This question was faced by evolutionists in the 1950s and 1960s, yet no one ever came up with a viable answer.

The existence of viable ancient DNA in the spores of bacterium, that should have degraded long ago, is an interesting problem for Evolutionists that will not go away. I am sure this test will be a point of contention between Creationists and Evolutionists in the future.

How does the scientific story of the Mitochondrial Eve fit into the Biblical Creation Story? Also, the new faster clock speed of mtDNA is an interesting development that needs to be observed by Creationists. Creationists need faster change than normal random mutations are able to deliver, so this development is a very interesting phenomenon to consider.

Evolution has promoted the idea of simple organisms forming first before the more complex follow. However, the very lowest level where fossils are found we see a sudden presence of abundant life forms. Both in complexity and in the numbers of species. In fact, there seems to be more kinds of life in the Cambrian than we presently have living today. The data seems to suggest a world that Evolution does not predict.

The production of random mutations in the DNA of organisms is a very slow process. 4500 or even 6000 years is an extremely short time to produce the mutations that we think we are seeing in nature. Creationists need faster change than Evolutionists.

Carbon 14 dating presently shows very good promise for fitting into the Creation paradigm. Even the oldest fossils on Earth contain a remainder of Carbon 14. Either there has been wide-spread contamination, or the Earth is not as old as was originally thought. Evidence is against the contamination idea.

While most other dating mechanisms date the rock surrounding fossils. Both Amino acid and Carbon 14 dating methods, date the actual fossil itself. However there is evidence concerning the racemization of various amino acids to suggest that the variation of amino acid levels found in fossils is due to factors such as heat and not their differences in ages.
